Delete your Herrikonekt account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Herrikonekt app (iOS and Android), developed by Adimen Intelligence Technologies S.L., and what happens to your data. You can do it in the app or, if you cannot access it, by email.

1. In the app

  • Open Herrikonekt and sign in.
  • Go to Profile → Edit profile → Delete account.
  • Read which data is deleted and tap Continue.
  • Confirm your identity (your password, or signing in again with Google or Apple) and type the confirmation word.
  • Tap Delete. The deletion is immediate.

2. Without the app, by email

If you cannot access the app, write to reportes@herrikonekt.com from your account email with the subject "Delete my account". You do not need to give a reason.

We will check that the request comes from the account holder and delete the account within 30 days at the latest. We will let you know by email once it is done.

3. What data is deleted

  • Your profile: name, email, photo and sign-in details (password or Google or Apple link). If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Herrikonekt's access to your Apple ID.
  • Your favourites, ratings, candles, notifications, registered devices and preferences.
  • Your forum classified ads and trips, with their photos.

4. What data is kept and for how long

  • Forum posts, comments and places: they stay published, but are no longer linked to you and show as "Deleted user".
  • Private chats: the conversation is closed and your identity is no longer shown. It is kept for 5 years only to handle possible claims or legal requests, and then deleted.
  • Purchase records: up to 6 years, as required by tax and commercial law, without being linked to your profile.

5. Before deleting your account

  • Deleting your account does not cancel subscriptions bought through Apple or Google. Cancel them first in your device's subscription settings.
  • If you own a business listing, the business is not deleted: it is left without an owner and someone else can claim it. Anything you have already paid for stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Deletion cannot be undone. If you sign up again, you will start with a new account.
